Thank you for installing the R1C1 Converter Add-on for Google Sheets. Here’s how to get started:
Open a Spreadsheet: Open any Google Sheet where you want to convert R1C1 formulas.
Access the Menu: After opening your spreadsheet, look for the “R1C1 Converter” menu in the top toolbar.
Convert Formulas:
Select a single cell and choose “Convert Selected Cell” to convert an R1C1 formula to A1 notation.
Select a range of cells and choose “Convert Selected Range” for bulk conversion.
View Original Formulas: Use “Show Original R1C1 Formulas” to see stored R1C1 formulas for the current sheet.
Automatic Conversion: The Add-on automatically detects and converts R1C1 formulas when you edit or paste them.
Tip: If you encounter errors like #NAME? or #REF!, the Add-on will attempt to convert any R1C1 formulas causing these issues.
